Ease any stress with this easy guide to parking at Doolin Pier!

3 simple steps to paying for parking on Doolin Pier!

We aim for a cruise with Garrihy’s Doolin2Aran Ferries to always be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. However during the busy season, trying to find parking on Doolin Pier while rushing to catch your boat can be quite stressful. Which is why we would advise you to arrive at the pier at least 30 mins prior to the boats departure time in order to secure a car park space and relieve you from the stress.

ParkMagic has set up a webpage to allow instant payment for your parking at Doolin Pier without having the app or an account. ParkMagic Pay by Phone is designed to provide a quicker and easier way to pay for your parking! Forget searching for a parking meter, you can now do it all by your phone.  If you are stuck for time or if you’re stuck for change (often times, the parking meter doesn’t accept card), this is a really quick and easy way to pay for your parking.  We would recommend you do this in advance to your cruise so you have one less thing to worry about!

Here is a step-by-step of what to do for parking at Doolin Pier:

STEP ONE: Type in your vehicle reg – it’s ok if you don’t know this – an email will be sent closer to the date booked where you can add this in.

STEP TWO: Type in your email address.

STEP THREE: Choose your arrival time.

STEP FOUR: Select a time duration for your parking. The options are:

  • per hour
  • 30 hours
  • 1 week
  • 2 weeks
  • 3 weeks
  • 4 weeks

STEP FIVE: If paying per hour, choose how many hours you would like.

Anybody who pays through the site will be instantly shown as paid to traffic wardens until their payment expires. And you can top up as much as you want throughout the day. So if you decide you’d like to stay overnight at one of the Aran Islands, you won’t have to worry about rushing back the next morning. Happy days!
